What is a QR code generator?
A QR code is a picture of text. A generator takes the text — usually a web address — and lays it out as the black and white pattern a camera can read. Everything needed to open the link is in the pattern itself, which is why a printed code keeps working with no internet connection on the printing side and no service subscription.
Static versus dynamic QR codes
Codes made here are static: the destination is encoded directly. A dynamic QR code instead encodes a short link on a third party's server, which forwards the scanner onward. That lets the owner change the destination later, but it also means the code stops working if that company folds, starts charging, or decides to redirect elsewhere. For a printed menu, a shop window or product packaging, static is the safer choice.

Paste the full address including https://, check the preview, and download. Use SVG for anything that gets printed and PNG for screens. Test the result with the actual phone your audience will use before committing it to print.
