Print at 3–4 cm across and test from a seated position, in your actual evening lighting. Laminate them — a QR code with a coffee ring through the corner can still work, but one that is scratched through the middle will not.

Watch for sticker fraud

Restaurant tables are a favourite target: someone covers your code with theirs and takes payment details. Check your table cards periodically, and consider printing directly onto the card rather than using stickers.
